● No mandatory entry requirements.
● Preferable Course: IOSH Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health Practice, or an equivalent IOSH-accredited qualification and/or relevant experience — this level of prior learning is assumed.

Unit 1: Advanced OSH Management Principles in Organisations
Develop advanced knowledge of occupational safety and health management principles and their application within organisations. This unit focuses on strategic OSH management, risk management, legal and organisational requirements, performance improvement and developing effective OSH systems.
You will learn how to:
- Evaluate organisational OSH risks and management systems.
- Apply advanced OSH management principles.
- Analyse legal and organisational requirements.
- Evaluate OSH performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Recommend practical strategies for improving workplace safety and health.
Unit 2: OSH Integration Within an Organisation
Learn how to integrate occupational safety and health into wider organisational strategy and business operations. This unit focuses on connecting OSH objectives with organisational performance, sustainability, risk management and strategic decision-making.

How Is the IOSH Level 6 Diploma Assessed?
The IOSH Level 6 Diploma is assessed through a combination of 15 tutor-marked formative assessments and three summative assignments based on the learner’s own workplace. Learners receive individual tutor feedback throughout the course to help them prepare for the final assessments.
